Awesome book, love the series so far. The ending leaves you in suspense for the next novel. I can't wait to read it. I could not put the book down, and the few times i did, it took a lot of effort to drag me away and during those times i was thinking of the story and how it may go in my mind.

This book continues the story about Brielle and Jake. In the books description it gives you a very straight forward idea of what the book will be about. I think everyone could enjoy this book, and wold recommend they try it out!

Book Description

Angels with wings of blade. Demons with renewed sight. And a girl who has never been more broken.

Brielle has begun to see the world as it really is, a place where angels intermingle with humans. But just when she thinks she’s got things under control, the life she’s pieced together begins to crumble.

Her boyfriend, Jake, is keeping something from her. Something important.

And her overprotective father has turned downright hostile toward Jake. Brielle fears she’ll have to choose between the man who’s always loved her and the one who’s captured her heart.

Then she unearths the truth about her mother’s death and the nightmare starts. Brielle begins seeing visions of mysterious and horrible things.

What she doesn’t know is that she’s been targeted. The Prince of Darkness himself has heard of the boy with healing in his hands and of the girl who saw through the Terrestrial veil. When he pulls the demon Damien from the fiery chasm and sends him back to Earth with new eyes, the stage is set for the ultimate battle of good versus evil.

Brielle has no choice. She must master the weapons she’s been given. She must fight.

But can she fly with broken wings?

Fire Prophet - Son of Angels 2

By Jerel Law
Published by Thomas Nelson

Nephilim = Half angels
Quarterlings = Quarter Angels
Elohim = God
This contains some small spoilers.

I read the first book in the series and was real glad to be able to review the second book as well.

This book continues on with the adventures of Jonah and Eliza who are quarter angels, they are joined by their younger brother Jeremiah this time (who is also a quarter angel). They and their parents must be hidden away, but at different locations to keep them safe, all the quarterlings are hidden away and taught how to use the gifts they have been given by Elohim. They will be needed to fight the battle between Good and Evil. The children are hidden away in a Convent and practice their skills in a library. The parents are able to keep in touch through the Angels. The parents are hidden in different locations all over the world. The Convent gets attacked after the location is reveled by a likely Nephilim, that wouldn't go into hiding.

Hope this intrigues you enough to get this awesome book. It is filled with adventure, excitement and action. I would recommend this book to all who believe in the power of prayer and those that don't as this may help to see the light. I think that this was an awesome book and many people will enjoy this

Book Description

Fire Prophet is Book Two in the Son of Angels Series. Spirit Fighter began the Son of Angels series.

What if you could actually see angels and fallen angels engaging in battle—and you were expected to join the fight?

It’s been one year since Jonah Stone and his sister, Eliza, discovered that their mother is a nephilim, the product of a union between a human and a fallen angel, which makes them and their little brother, Jeremiah, quarterlings, or one-quarter angel. After embarking on an epic journey to rescue their mother and the other nephilim, who were kidnapped by fallen angels, the Stone kids have enjoyed a little peace and quiet.

But when Jonah and Eliza are attacked by fallen angels at school, they learn that quarterlings all over the world are being targeted, and separating them from their parents is the only way to keep them safe. The kids undergo special training to help them discover their own unique angelic gifts, which come in handy when they embark on a mission to find a mysterious prophet who they believe holds the key to Abaddon's defeat in a massive battle between good and evil.

Parents today are looking for fiction that makes Christianity and the Bible exciting for their kids. This series is the first Christian answer to Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Kane Chronicles, the Secret Series, and other middle grade series packed with adventure, action, and supernatural fights. But the message is solidly scriptural in that God alone is always in control.
