First Date

At the time I picked this book, there were no reviews and being sick kind of took away from me being at the computer to read it. I have no read it and this is a good book to read. If you like clean romance, with some religion thrown in, this is the book for you.

I picked this book, cause it seemed to be interesting. Like a tv show you would watch on tv, how you try and get the "perfect guy" to pick you out of all the other girls. This teenager girl Addy went onto the tv show The Book of Love but doesn't want to be on it, at least at first. But she does end up falling for the guy and trying to win.

Book Description

Addy Davidson is the last girl in the country who wants to be on the new reality TV show to win a date to prom with the President’s son. She’s focused on her schoolwork so she can get a scholarship to an Ivy League college, uncomfortable in the spotlight, never been on a date, and didn’t even audition for it.

But she got selected anyway.

So she does her best to get eliminated on the very first show… right before she realizes that the President’s son is possibly the most attractive guy she has ever seen in person, surprisingly nice, and seemingly unimpressed by the 99 other girls who are throwing themselves at him.

Addy’s totally out of her comfort zone—but that may be right where God can show her the most about who she is . . . and who she was meant to be.

Bittersweet Surrender

Carly Westlake who owns her own chocolate spa, decides she wants to lose some weight, because Jake Mitchell who is someone she has had a crush on for years, is moving back into town with his teenage daughter. Her best guy friend (which was her late best friend, Ivy's, husband) Scott is asked by her to help her to out, and he takes it to a level she didn't want, he takes her hidden stashes of chocolate (that she keeps to eat for herself) and tells her to eat pistachios instead, within reason. Magnolia is now living with her and is going to make her some healthy meals.

Carly has a dog named Pinkie. She also has a brother named C.J, who seems to have issues, at least until the end.

A very great read. Very well written.

It takes a miracle of grace to get Carley to finally make that bittersweet surrender to love and real life.

Heart of Ice

This is the third book in a series. I am not sure what really happened in those first books, but this book has enough info that you can get into the story.

Part of the book talks of Elizabeth who uses anyone she feels will suit her needs, and doesn't care what happens to them. She calls this "The Game". She meets up with Cassidy in a class she teaches and feels she will come in handy later, so she takes her for coffee and talks to her telling her fiction stories of herself that she knows will make Cassidy relate, cause she has the same kind of problems. Cassidy talks about her good friends; Federal prosecutor Allison Pierce and FBI agent Nicole Hedges and Elizabeth doesn't like the sound of them and swears they won't stop her from playing "The Game".

I hope this information gives you enough to make you wanna read it. This is a great fiction story, I would recommend anyone who likes reading about crimes and criminal stories to read this, and even if you don't, it is still a good read.

The Triple Threat women have faced intense situations before…but never such a cunningly cold-blooded murderer.

She ingeniously manipulates everyone who crosses her path to do exactly as she wishes--from crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, who thinks Elizabeth is her new best friend, to a shy young man Elizabeth persuades to kill for her.

As Elizabeth leaves a trail of bodies in her wake, Federal prosecutor Allison Pierce and FBI agent Nicole Hedges must piece together clues from seemingly unrelated crimes. Can they stop her before she reaches her unthinkable, ultimate end-game?

Alienation (C.H.A.O.S., #2)

This is the second book in the series. The first book is called Invasion.

This is a great book. It starts off pretty much where the last book left off. It describes what Colt, Oz, Danielle are doing, how they are training for the academy. When they get to the academy it describes the adventures they have there.

This is a great read for anyone who loves aliens and science fiction type books. It also contains lots of action. I can't wait to read the third book where they are trapped on the Thule planet.

But strange accidents seem to follow him. . . even with the security of the school grounds. What first seems random soon turns deadly. But who is targeting Colt?

As the alien invasions increase in frequency and force, C.H.A.O.S resources are taxed to the limit and they're forced to utilize the new recruits. In the midst of battle, Colt will discover some startling revelations . . . about himself, his friendship with Oz, and why he has been chosen to defeat this alien attack against earth.
